In this adaptation of Jarry's pioneering "'pataphysical" farce, the tyrant Ubu stumbles through a world where advanced technology amplifies human folly. Political corruption collides with machine learning in a chaotic series of power grabs, betrayals, and enormous governmental incompetence. As intelligent machines witness the same brutal absurdities that have plagued civilization for millennia, Ubu's reign of terror becomes both a mirror to contemporary anxieties and a timeless satire of authoritarian buffoonery. As Ubu remains the same murderous fool, proving that progress is often just old horrors with new graphics.
Warning: This contains ridiculous deaths and absurd suffering.
